My point is: you raise your kid your way, I'll raise my kid mine. Just because it's different doesn't mean either one of us is right or wrong, it just means we're different. Do what works for you and your kid.
I think that is what you said :) (and, no, I can't sleep)....but you know I agree with you on the parenting thing. Each kid is different, God chose to give Jade to you for a reason. Just keep trusting your instincts-you are the mom. As Lane said, we're parents now-adults, we don't ask permission anymore :) Not the exact quote, but given the fact I am awake when everyone else is asleep in my house I hope you will forgive my blunder :)
